SERVPRO of Rancho Santa Margarita/Coto De Caza/Trabuco Canyon is so grateful to work alongside first responders every day. This month we’d like to thank our local police force for keeping our community safe!

Criminals are looking for an easy target with the lowest risk; if you provide it, they will take it! There are simple preventative steps you can take to eliminate crimes of opportunity and reduce the frequency of burglaries and thefts in our community.

Things you can do to prevent crime:

  • Buy Security cameras for your home or business
  • Place cameras in a high place so that they can't be blocked or broken easily
  • Make sure you lock the doors of your home and car
  • Secure all windows
  • Make sure you have lighting surrounding the property

Little things like this can help keep you more safe and make it easier on cops to catch the criminal.

Cooking Safety

"Keep an eye on what you fry." Stay in the kitchen when frying, grilling or using an open flame.

Never smoke in bed.
